ExpressJet Simulator Building
Continental AirlinesFull flight simulators offer essential training by recreating cockpit and environmental conditions to test pilots’ reactions to normal external factors as well as emergency equipment failure. This simulator building accommodates sophisticated Level D simulators, with motion platforms capable of moving the simulator cab in all six degrees of freedom in three-dimensional space, plus an outside world visual system giving pilots panoramic views. Brookstone incorporated complex MEP systems into the high-bay areas housing the simulators, assuring efficient operations and maintenance of the expensive equipment. Two levels of glass-walled monitoring and support areas overlook the training areas.
