With more than 27 years of construction safety experience under his belt, Chris is the award-winning safety director of Brookstone.

Chris grew up in the construction industry, as his father was a partner in a commercial construction company in Tyler, Texas. Chris became passionate about our industry’s most valuable resource – its people – and was drawn to a career as a safety professional. Having an understanding of how projects are built and having worked in the industry, allows him to uniquely promote safe work practices, processes, and guidelines.

He has a degree in applied science in occupational safety and health from Texas State Technical College and is a certified Construction Health and Safety Technician.  Chris has served as past Co-Chair for the Houston Chapter AGC Safety Committee, Texas Building Branch Safety Committee and is currently active with the AGC National Safety Committee.

An avid outdoorsman, Chris enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as traveling with his wife, Christin, and their children – all safely, of course!
