  • Architect: Kirksey
  • Project Delivery: CM@Risk
  • Scope: 24,000 sf counseling center, 73,000 sf parking garage

Strategically located between Downtown and River Oaks, the Council building accommodates multiple support groups that yearly touch 365,000 people of all socio-economic backgrounds. Brookstone fit a 3-story building, 175-car garage, 300-seat auditorium and small courtyard onto a tiny site. We also renovated 20,000 sf of existing space and connected the existing and new buildings together.

To maintain morning-to-night operations throughout construction, we orchestrated traffic flow to safely move staff and clients to and from off-site parking. Site logistics were further complicated by simultaneous construction of an 8-story apartment complex next door.
