The third largest volunteer fire department in Harris County, the Spring VFD is responsible for a 115-square-mile area. Four-bay Station #71 is the department’s central station, housing the quartermaster as well as the administration building for the Harris County Emergency Services District #7, which oversees all Spring VFD activities. Station #77 has three fire truck bays.

Each station features a red brick and plaster exterior. Brookstone incorporated truck cleaning equipment and associated drainage into the bays and built dorm rooms, officers’ quarters, kitchen/living areas and public meeting rooms in each station.
